ABOUT
Hi, I'm Louise. I am passionate about working with people with neurological conditions using occupational therapy to create meaningful, goal-based outcomes. This approach enables NDIS participants to improve their quality of life, increase confidence in the community and promote joyful living. I provide a mobile occupational therapy service to people living on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
Following the completion of a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2012, I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Neurological Rehabilitation. I have worked in acute stroke care, as well as rehab in the subacute, outpatient and community settings, so have a strong understanding of how to support clients to transition from hospital to home with the assistance of NDIS.
I am dedicated to providing a high quality service where I treat everyone with respect and dignity. My aim is to help you feel empowered while bringing a sense of humour, warmth and genuine care to everyone that I meet.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES- NDIS
I offer services to adolescent and adult NDIS participants who are self or plan managed, living on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. I'm experienced in working collaboratively and compassionately with NDIS participants, their families and their supports to help NDIS participants achieve their goals and get the most out of their NDIS plans.
My NDIS services include but are not limited to:

Functional capacity assessments and reports to inform plan reviews

Therapeutic interventions including Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), Mirror Box Therapy, Mental Imagery Practice, Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) , Activities of Daily Living (ADL) retraining at home and in the community

Telehealth for eligible participants

Home assessments for minor and major home modifications including complex home modification applications

Assistive Technology (AT) prescription including assessment, trials and AT applications of basic

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assessments and reports

Supported Independent Living (SIL) assessments and reports
